Srujana Kishore Sammeta is a senior pursuing a Bachelors in Public Relations. She is the managing editor for Criterion and also works as a CSR for Calkins Hall and as a clerical assistant for the Enrollment department at La Sierra University. She served as the secretary of the Pre-Medical Society during her sophomore year, and continued being involved in planning campus events through the Office of Student Involvement. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin, classical indian dancing, watching Bollywood movies, going on road trips with friends, going to the beach, and spending time with her niece and nephew.

Members from the committee, athletic department, and coaching staff honored their athletes with both academic and conference awards for the 2017-2018 sports seasons.

This spring, the La Sierra University Music Department conducted their senior recitals and according to Dr. Raejin Lee, Associate Professor and Director of Vocal Studies, voice recitals do indeed serve a purpose. That purpose is to showcase the singer’s musical accomplishments and progress. The recitals, which must be about 50 minutes in length, are also required to obtain a vocal performance degree.
